New Charlotte Food Tour Unveiled…
We have just introduced our second Charlotte tour! This walking tour showcases the creative culinary artisans in the artsy Historic NoDa Neighborhood just a few miles outside of Uptown Charlotte.
The Local Flavors of NoDa Tour guides you through an average of 8 locally owned and operated eateries, bars, and culinary shops. At each stop, the owners or chefs will take the time to introduce you to their business, discuss their specialties, and unveil their passions for what they do and how they are unique. We get to sample a wide-variety of mouth-watering food items prepared especially for us and sip some
locally brewed craft beer – so local it is brewed right down the street! You will be enlightened by some chefs as they take you behind-the-scenes into their operation and teach you some cooking techniques. Other owners will share their knowledge on how to pair that perfect wine or brew that perfect cup of coffee. We will not let all of the cool history and architecture just pass us by while we walk around…this tour will also provide an overview of NoDa’s powerhouse past.
Tickets are available now for the Local Flavors of NoDa Tour through our website. Tours will occur regularly on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays starting on July 14, 2012. Price is $47 per person including all of your food and beverage samples, guided tour, and behind-the-scenes access to great culinary artisans and their operations.
Want some more exposure to the NoDa neighborhood and an introduction to the explosion of craft breweries opening in Charlotte? Our Brew & Chew Tour is also available on Thursdays full of craft beer and hearty beer food all while traveling along on Charlotte’s Party Pedaler.
