Blair Potts, master chocolatier at Potts Chocolate, got his start in the food business over 40 years ago. After holding every restaurant job imaginable, he co-founded and was brewmaster at the first micro-brewery in Connecticut in 1989. Over the years he has developed a passion for using local ingredients and a reputation for bringing out the best and most interesting aspects of each flavor.

In 2008 he started Potts Chocolate, one of the early bean-to-bar chocolatiers. Potts Chocolate also offers a variety of truffles and candies made from his chocolate, making them unique in the industry. Blair loves to explore the world of cacao beans and is constantly working with new sources of cacao and developing new recipes. Potts Chocolate is proud to work with local producers and purveyors of wine, rum, whiskey, cheese, and beer in developing chocolates.
